The Outrageous Poems of Krunchie Killeen:
MNÁ
Cén sort mná Is mó a thugann só dom’ shúil? Is deacair a rá; gach dara lá Athraíonn go suntasach Mo dhúil.
Cíoch mhór lán, Flúirse cromán, Tóin a bhogann Ins an siúl;
Nó maighdean déagóra Na gcíoch beag cróga, Sciorta deich nórlach Os cionn a glún?
Súil mhór mhealtach A músclaíonn gealtacht Ghnéis im’ chroí?
Súil mhór shoineanta, Trustach ionamsa, A músclaíonn fonn a cosanta Ón saol?
Muise, aon ainnir álainn, Cibé rua, dubh nó bán í, Tig lei lánrith A chur lem’ chroí,
Má nochtann a beola Fáilte roimh phóga: Sin é, leoga, Mór mo mhian.
